They are located a few miles from Old Orchard, and provide an entertaining way to support the equine industry. Older teens and parents may place wagers on horses, which builds the excitement. A beginner’s station is available to explain wagering procedures and general questions.

No one ever outgrows candy. The smell and bright colors of Dickson’s Candy Factory draws in many visitors from the streets of Old Orchard Beach. This unique candy store specializes in salt water taffy and handmade fudge. When entering the store, friendly workers encourage customers to try free samples of hand-made fudge and taffy.
The store is lined with rows of homemade chocolate creations, as well as traditional commercial candies.
